WAUPUN
The Waupun Chapter was founding in 1979 by the original founders of WIngs Over Wisconsin. The first banquet was held in 1980.
The chapter purchased a 100+ acre farm on Brown Road, north east of Waupun and has restored the parcel to natural wildlife habitat. The chapters number one goal is habitat restoration for upland game, but all wildlife benefits from the restoration. Waupun also provides wood duck houses, small bird houses, phaeasants for stocking private land and food plot seed. The chapter will provide prairie grass seed on a cost share bais and offers a rebate. In addition ,the Waupun Chapter sponsors the local hunters safety class and makes donations of time and money to local charities like: Authentic Voices, Waupun Parks, Youth Outdoor Expo, Waupun Food Bank and Markesan High School woods program.
