It was 27 years ago that a group of local sportsmen got together and decided they wanted to improve the habitat and hunting in our area so they formed the Kettle Moraine Chapter of Wings Over Wisconsin. We believe the fact that Wings Over Wisconsin, unlike other oganizations, keeps all of the money raised in Wisconsin in Wisconsin is one of the main reasons this chapter was formed. Their enthusiasm and dedication has brought us together tonight. Because of our efforts and the efforts of all those who have joined since, we have been able to achieve many accomplishments. With the purchase of our wildlife area and its development we have fulfulled one of the main goals of our chapter. Since then, we have established a Learn To Hunt program. The program begins with a wildflife biologist and includes hunter education training, trap shooting and many other activities ending with a pheasant hunt in the afternoon.
