The Fox River Chapter was started in 1985. The members from this chapter are located around the Burlington area.
Through the support of it's members the chapter will be able to continue many local wildlife projects including:
* The Eagle Scout Blue Bird Trail
* Sponsor Wild Outdoor World Youth Education programs
* Plant trees and shrubs for game habitat
* Release of Bobwhite Quail
* Distribute birdseed to local nursing homes
* The bluebird nest box project
* Wood duck nest box project
* Habitat improvement projects and refuge land acquisition fund
* Wild game bird releases
* Hunter safety
* Sponsor Statewide Wings Programs
* Provide scholarships for local high school students pursuing careers in conservation.
* Wisconsin Youth Expo
* Washington-Caldwell School Nature Center
* Adaptive Sportsmen Hunt
Fox River has also acquired 105 acres which was restored back to native wildlife habitat. In addition, the chapter owns a plotmaster which is used on their property and by others interested in planting food plots. |

The Fox River chapter released a total of 800 quail in June of 2005. There were 4 different release sites including 200 quail being released on local Wings Over Wisconsin property.
